Programs
As an organization, here are the activities we are involved in.
Strategic Praying
This is realised through organized fellowships of praying believers from different denominations that gather in specific locations at the village, town, or city in the country to pray for issues affecting their neighbourhoods, County and the nation. The meetings encourage unity and networking among the believers and strengthening the body of Christ as an effective “watchman” company.
Prayer School
Kenya House of Prayer conducts a nationwide Leadership Training Programme (LTP) in intercession and spiritual warfare to prepare and equip the church for Godly transformation of the nation. The trainees are encouraged to actively participate in prayer during and after the training. The goal of this training is to mobilize and develop leaders for effective intercession and to provide a platform for intercessory networks that are able to execute prayer assignments. LTP is held every Sunday for five months from January to May and July to December at decentralised locations in the country.
Sundoulus African Leadership Training (SALT) Institute
The SALT Institute, Kenya Chapter, is an arm of the Intercessors For Africa with the aim of identifying, training, raising and equipping servant leaders who will apply Biblical principles in governance at all levels of society through prayer and action. It is currently active in Nairobi, Eldoret and Kisumu, and expected to cover most Counties in the days ahead.
Africa Kingdom Business Forum (AKBF)
This is an initiative for people in the marketplace aimed at raising prudent Kingdom resource stewards by providing an interactive, networking and training forum for business people who will make resources available for God’s purposes. The forum is committed to both praying and taking all positive actions to see the fulfilment of God’s promises following Kingdom principles.
Children Prayer Network (CPN)
This programme is designed to train and develop children with the purpose of strengthening their spiritual capacity, enable them realize their full potential and prophetic destiny, and enable them participate in interceding for their nation, Kenya.
Youth Ministry
This programme targets young people seeking to train and equip them for service, to motivate them to take responsibility for the nation and get involved in bringing Kenya and Africa to their prophetic destiny (Ps.22:30). The activities include youth camps (for those in and just out of school), discussion forums and discipleship. It also includes inculcating Godly values in those who aspire to take leadership positions, to enable them influence others and the nation positively.
Prayer and support for Israel
This programme enlightens the church concerning Israel’s position in God, raising altars to pray for Israel continually and supporting her financially and otherwise.
Jehovah Jireh
This is an outreach initiative in which the KHP and partners reach out to the needy and marginalized communities with the love of God at the spiritual, social and material levels.
